Life is a series of decisions or choices
Book Review Corner -Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill
First published in 1937 during the great depression in the USA and inspired by the great Scottish-American businessman Andrew Carnegie, this book points the way to personal achievement. When Hill died in 1970 it had sold over 20 million copies, currently over 70 million have been sold. ISBN:0-449-91146-2.
I first came across this book when it was recommended as additional reading by Jack Black at the first MindStore course I attended in Glasgow back in 1998. It continues to be recommended at MindStore Courses around the world as additional personal development reading to participants over 13 years later! it’s such a brilliant book I would recommend you source a copy.
Jack Black the founder of MindStore International is currently in Australia.
When we met up with him we discussed a range of new developments in accessing MindStore learning and development tools and techniques which are being developed for online and mobile platforms.
These will make acessing Mindstores unique tools easier for everyone living such fast paced business and personal lives. Keep an eye on our website for more details of these exciting developments.

Life, as they say, is a series of decisions or choices. Being in an informed place for making those decisions is clearly the preferred choice for us all.
As we move forward and evolve as human beings one would hope, and indeed trust, that more and more of us would make our decisions and choices from a much more informed and balanced place.
Yet, time and again, we make them based on our prejudices and current thought patterns. Far too many of us do not test out our own views but take them to be facts and act on them.
As the time comes to make decisions for our business and personal lives, making informed choices becomes all the more important. We are probably not ready for it yet but being able to make decisions from a more intuitive place with tools to check for integrity and truth would easily change our world. As an international organisation MindStore works with leaders from all sorts of fields, and we are well aware of the need for them to make critical decisions day upon day. We have now introduced TFT (Thought Field Therapy) on request into our courses, in house client groups or on one to one’s. These extraordinary tools bring everyone to a point of balance free from stress and urgency and therefore the ability to make the correct decisions.
Think about it, it just isn’t good enough anymore for all of us to be rushing around up to our necks in demands and schedules, yet still expect to make good decisions and choices. Many of these directly impact our lives but, more importantly, can in many cases influence the lives of countless others in our organizations and wider industry.
Ancient wisdom tells us to slow down and regularly take time for peace and quiet, not only to manage our stress but for taking time out to find balance and clarity.
Clearly, if we commit to building into our busy schedules time to take stock and relax we will all perform much better. Even just taking time out to actually stop and think is relatively rare in the modern age. I strongly recommend that you find your own way of doing so. Better decisions make for a better life. We make choices, day in, day out, from what we choose to eat and drink right up to who we vote for and everything in between. So make space to really think and make the best decision you can.
